Neurology

The neurology department performs diagnostics and treatments for the central nervous system the brain and spinal cord and the peripheral nervous system diseases. The diseases neurology department treats include general headaches, dizziness, strokes, dementia, numbness of hand and feet, facial paralysis and convulsion, fainting, epilepsy, shaky hand, Parkinson's disease, peripheral nerve disorder, and muscular diseases.

The quality of the neurology department has been proved through the Health and Insurance Review and Assessment Service's acute stroke assessment by receiving A grade in every assessment item for 2 consecutive years. The department is also designated as the severe cerebropathy center by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. With the support from the government, the department provides proper treatment for brain diseases and lead by the nuerology the cooperation with other departments including nuerological surgery, emergency medicine, rehabilitation medicine, and imagery medicine to provide better quality treatment.
